AVCON® was created to satisfy the need for a structural railing product that would end the high cost of maintenance and the corrosive effects that time and weather have on traditional railing. AVCON® introduced its thermoplastic line in early 1991 and became the first manufacturer nationwide to produce a structurally sound metal reinforced thermoplastic railing system that would end the high cost of maintenance and the corrosive effects that time and weather have on more traditional railings.

Through AVCON's® more than 15 years in the railing industry and 13 years producing its state of the art thermoplastic system, we became aware of the need for design flexibility and architectural detail. Although our thermoplastic system is available in a myrid of colors and standard styles, the ability to change profile shapes and add architectural details to it is not easily feasible. With that in mind, AVCON® partnered with a European railing manufacturer and in the mid-1990's introduced its "Majestic Series" line of powder-coated aluminum railings. The "Majestic Series" allow design professionals the latitude to mix and match an almost endless variety of profile shapes and in-fill options, literally designing your own rail style and achieve that "look" you are going for without the highly expensive costs involved with fabricating a custom rail style.
